ARC Search, a Northeast recruiting firm, has developed a unique service to help local manufacturing companies deal more efficiently with human capital management issues.

Over the last few years, we have received an increasing number of requests to confidentially replace underperforming employees. There are many reasons why companies make the difficult decision to replace an executive, manager, or individual contributor. The most common concern is an employee in an important position, who lacks the leadership or organizational skills, is unable to perform at an acceptable level. Today, in a constantly changing global workplace, many companies are confronted with this challenge as they grow or reinvent themselves. We decided to answer this growing phenomenon by developing a unique, shared service that combines a confidential replacement process with a career transition coaching option.

ARC Search, LLC. and New England Coaching, a leader in executive leadership and career transition coaching, have agreed on a partnering arrangement. This partnership will allow ARC Search to offer clients the ability to replace an underperforming employee without disrupting an organization's productivity flow, and includes a leading edge support tool to assist the outgoing incumbent.

Companies may find a lot of value in utilizing a confidential search process that allows the current employee to continue their duties while an “under the radar search” is implemented. It may also ease the pressure to find a replacement as soon as possible, rather than finding the best candidate through a comprehensive search process. The company’s executive team can also feel confident, knowing that the incumbent will be offered a support package to help them through a challenging transition period.

This valuable added service is part of ARC Search’s fee structure. New England Coaching will be paid directly by ARC Search once the agreed upon confidential search replacement assignment is completed.

Prior to entering the coaching profession, Bill Sex was President of Betatherm Corporation in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, a position he assumed when he moved from Ireland to the United States in 1998. At Betatherm, he was responsible for the North American subsidiary as well as being a member of the Group Board of Directors, based in Ireland. He managed facilities in Shrewsbury and Barbados, and was actively involved in the setting up of a third party subcontract operation in China.
 
Before joining Betatherm, Bill held various manufacturing operational positions with Penn Racquet Sports (tennis balls) and Waterford Crystal (high end glassware), both located in Ireland.
